Position with the Law Office of Alexander Schachtel. Since 2016 the Firm has been serving clients across Hudson County and greater North and Central New Jersey. Major practice areas are commercial litigation, personal injury, real estate litigation and miscellaneous civil litigation.
We are now seeking all-star contributors to join the team and contribute to our growing practice. We are considering paralegals with some experience and current and former law students looking for clerk roles. We will strongly consider clerks for full time associate positions if they demonstrate a desire to grow and learn.

Job Duties Include:
-- Assisting Attorney in Drafting Correspondence, Discovery Demands and Responses, and Motions and Motion Responses
-- Managing Document Discovery Including Organization and Review of Medical Records, Bank Records, and other Documentary Evidence
-- Administrative Duties Including Preparing Outgoing Materials for Mailing and Delivery, Coordinating Schedules for Attorney and Clients, Scanning and Document Preparation
Experience Required
(Paralegal)
-- Two (2) or more years of law firm or in-house legal experience dealing with any type of civil litigation. Personal Injury or Commercial Litigation Experience is Highly Preferred.
-- Paralegal Degree/Certification.
-- Familiarity with New Jersey Rules of Court.
(Law Clerk)
-- 2L or 3L in Law School at ABA accredited law school
-- 3.0 GPA at minimum
-- Prior Internship or Clinic or Private Practice Experience in the above areas is preferred
