Cooley LLP has an opportunity available in the Venture Capital/Fund Formation practice of its San Francisco office. Associates with one to two years of fund formation experience or general corporate experience involving public and private companies (but who wish to focus on venture capital and fund formation), are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have fund formation experience and/or experience representing high growth businesses in connection with financings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Candidates will have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm, and will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
