Cooley LLP has an opportunity available in the Venture Capital/Fund Formation practice of its Palo Alto office. Associates with three to four years of fund formation experience or general corporate experience (but who wish to transition into a full-time fund formation practice), are encouraged to apply.

Ideal candidates will have: (i) fund formation experience or training in fund-related activities; (ii) experience in emerging company matters; (including securities, venture capital and other financings), (iii) experience working in the business/corporate department of a comparable law firm; (iv) experience in managing client relationships and handling the day-to-day requirements and work flow requirements of a variety of clients in different stages of development, and (v) a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
