Practice Description:With more than 200 lawyers and other professionals, Morgan Lewis has one of the largest intellectual property practices of any full-service law firm in the world.We provide a range of intellectual property services, including litigation at the district court, US International Trade Commission (ITC), and appellate levels; patent preparation and prosecution; trademark and copyright counseling and portfolio management; post-grant and other administrative proceedings before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO); licensing, technology transfer and other transactions; and addressing intellectual properties issues in corporate transactions. Candidates must have at least two years of patent prosecution experience in the biotechnology/large molecule technology space along with an advanced degree in a life sciences technology area.
Further, candidates must possess excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. We value collegiality and diversity among our lawyers and seek to make the practice both professionally and personally rewarding.
California bar membership is required and Patent bar membership is strongly preferred.
