Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP seeks an experienced Defense Litigation Medical Paralegal for its Red Bank, New Jersey office.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Work directly with attorneys on matters
Prepare Medical Chronologies
Prepare Medical Bill Spreadsheets
Intake initial demand packages and breakdown/prepare for attorney review
Conduct detailed Background Checks (social media, criminal, etc.)
Identify all non-parties i.e. insureds, doctors, healthcare facilities, employers and log
Prepare materials for depositions/mediations/trials
Review depositions for relevant defense arguments and identifying new healthcare providers to subpoena
Must prepare/process public records requests, document demands, requests for admission, and medical authorizations.
Work with experts, send documents, attend and summarize conferences
Follow-up for updated lien information as case continues
