Atlanta office of a fast growing, highly regarded Insurance Company, is seeking a Claims Director to manage the company's Personal Umbrella Liability claims.  This is newly budgeted opening and will sit in a central ATL location.
 ***It is not necessary to have Excess Liability experience - a strong liability background will suffice! 
Responsibilities:

Proactively handle Personal Umbrella Liability claims which are mostly excess exposure auto liability
Claims are nationwide with a focus on Florida, Texas, New York and California
Investigate coverage  on claims and complete timely investigations and post appropriate reserves

Qualifications:

JD is preferred + 6 + years of handling high exposure auto liability, UM/UIM excess and/or umbrella claims
A BA or BS with experience is also OK
A strong LIABILITY BACKGROUND IS REQUIRED.  Interest in excess liability is needed.
Strong understanding of management of claims from an excess perspective
Very strong oral and written communication skills
