Exclusive junior/mid-level litigation opportunity – significant hands-on experience
Submitted by EsqSocial Corpo... on
Are you a junior litigation associate (1 – 4 years of experience) who desires hands-on experience, client contact, and direct partner mentoring all within a firm and practice group that is known for its positive and supportive culture? If so, this opportunity is worth considering. Garrison & Sisson has been engaged on an exclusive basis to assist a large, AmLaw firm with recruiting an associate who has a proven and demonstrated passion for litigation. This Firm’s litigation practice is unique in that it provides associates to a wide range of litigation areas as well as white-collar investigations. You will not be limited to a particular area of litigation. To the contrary, being a good “all around” litigator (which will include white-collar) is valued. Additionally, the nature of the group is such that cases are staffed 1:1, meaning you will work directly with partners. In this group, it is not uncommon for junior/mid-level associates to argue motions, pitch for client work, and truly work alongside partners in crafting case strategies, etc. Further, this group provides a more direct path to partnership, while also paying on par with large firms. We have personally met with the firm’s litigation practice group leaders. While we were very impressed with the opportunity they described, we may have been even more impressed by them as people. This has proven to be a positive environment where associates are trained, cared about, and flourish. While credentials are a consideration, this firm will also consider associates from boutiques with a proven track record of hands-on litigation experience and a demonstrated passion in this area. Enthusiasm and collegiality are also hallmarks of this group, and greatly valued in potential candidates.
