Highly appealing and rare opportunity to join a blended Privacy/Data Security practice.  Chambers-ranked, business solution-oriented practice has a generalist approach to managing the risks associated with the collection, use and disclosure of information. You will avoid narrow industry specialization and have access to financial services (including fintech and GBLA), health care, government contractor, technology, consumer product manufacturer, and media content provider clients.
 
Work includes transactions (i.e., transactional-contracting and due diligence related to privacy issues, data security provisions, reps and warranties, stock purchase agreements, etc.), privacy risk assessments, agency related counseling involving the FTC and consumer protection issues, and general advisory work in connection with the development of privacy and data security policies and procedures. Additional experience will include exposure to cyber breach, privacy and data security investigations by the FTC and other federal and state regulators.
 
This newly identified need has developed as a result of increased client demand and is best suited for a mid to senior-level associate (JD 2014-2017).
