Our client, a national provider of professional liability insurance, has engaged us to identify qualified attorney candidates for multiple openings they have open with their claims team.  Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of litigation experience, with a particular focus on medical malpractice.  The hired attorney will manage the claims process from inception through resolution (including the negotiation of settlements).  This includes overseeing litigation, through regular communications with insureds and outside counsel.  They will also directly participate in mediations, investigate and assess claims, analyze potential coverage issues, and counsel senior claims management and underwriters regarding claims.  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), along with an exceptional litigation acumen, and a team-oriented approach are critical for success in this position.
