We are looking to hire an attorney to join our Legal team in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania (25 miles northwest of Philadelphia) to report to the Vice, President, Senior Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer of the Reinsurance Division. In this role, you will provide support to the Reinsurance Division’s Senior Counsel for all US legal matters. In more detail your responsibilities will be to:
·      Draft reinsurance agreements and related contracts and documents
·      Support and manage legal projects and strategic initiatives
·      Provide correct and timely assessment of legal and regulatory issues
·      Identify, manage and mitigate legal and regulatory risks
 
We are looking for a technically strong candidate, who enjoys collaborating with internal partners and seeks a challenging new job in an entrepreneurial environment. An ideal candidate will possess the following experience, skills and mindset:
·      Prior experience in transactional matters is preferred, reinsurance legal matters or insurance regulatory matters is preferred
·      Strong interpersonal skills and communication style
·      Effective time management and organizational skills
·      Previously demonstrated ability to work well within a team and to build strong relationships with colleagues
·      Three years of experience in a law firm or insurance in-house legal department
·      Pennsylvania bar admission OR willingness to become so admitted on an In-House Corporate Counsel basis
