Dentons is seeking a lawyer to join its Intellectual Property and Technology practice. The ideal candidate will have approximately 8–12 years of significant experience in the areas listed below. This position can be based in New York City; Short Hills, NJ; or Washington, DC. If the candidate is based in Short Hills or Washington, travel to the New York office will be necessary on occasion.

TRADEMARK - The candidate should have experience in areas including:

International and domestic searches
Portfolio development, management and enforcement
Strategic advice, planning and development
International and domestic prosecution matters, including responding to office actions
Disputes relating to the US Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and international trademark offices
Drafting and responding to cease and desist letters
Negotiating and drafting coexistence agreements
Addressing social media infringement matters
Litigation experience a plus
