Dykema Gossett PLLC, a leading national law firm, has an opening for an experienced employment associate for our Detroit office. Candidates should have three or more years of experience in traditional labor practice and employer counseling. Excellent research and writing skills and strong oral communication abilities are required. Areas of emphasis include practice before the National Labor Relations Board and/or Michigan Employment Relations Commission. Candidates should have experience with unfair labor practice issues, union elections, arbitrations, and collective bargaining negotiations. Job duties include research and memo writing, participation in collective bargaining negotiations, contract administration, arbitrations, and representation/unfair labor practice hearings. Litigation experience is a plus but not required.
