The Visiting Foreign Counsel is a limited term position in the Business Law Department, providing support to our Energy Practice Group. This person will split his or her time between performing entry level work in support of the Energy Practice Group, including but not limited to drafting and reviewing documents and performing other legal due diligence duties; and receiving business and energy law related training provided by Foley. The Visiting Foreign Counsel is a temporary, at-will position with a term of up to, but not longer than, 12 months. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and English, both in written and verbal communications - including with legal documents, and must have 4+ years of legal experience in Mexico, Central America, or Chile. All candidates must hold a valid license to practice law in Mexico, Central America or Chile. Admission to a U.S. state bar is not necessary.
