Hodgson Russ LLP is seeking a highly qualified attorney for the Health Law practice group in our Buffalo or Albany office. The practice group counsels hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, behavioral health providers, disability service providers and licensed professionals and represents many non-profit, public, and for-profit health care organizations, including some of the largest hospital systems in New York State.

The successful candidate must have at least six years of relevant experience dealing with federal and New York State health law issues (such as fraud and abuse, practitioner referral and tax exemption issues); regulatory compliance and transactional matters; preparation, review and negotiation of contracts and corporate documents; and issues relating to professional practices and licensing. Stellar academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills also required. Experience in administrative proceedings or reimbursement/compliance issues for health systems, hospitals, long term care providers, managed care organizations, or medical groups is a plus.
