Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP is now accepting resumes for a full-time, partnership-track IP / Patent Associate position in our Atlanta office with 4-6 years of experience. The candidate is expected to join one of the most dynamic international IP practices in the country and play an important role in leading and expanding the practice to the next level. The ideal candidate will possess top academic credentials (top 25% of class from a first-tier law school) and writing skills, significant engineering or software development experience prior to law school, and extensive
prosecution
experiences in front of the USPTO. An advanced degree in electrical engineering, physical science, physics, or computer engineering is strongly preferred (but not required). Litigation experience a plus. The firm represents many top-tier international companies based in Taiwan and Mainland China, thus candidates who are fluent in Mandarin/Chinese are strongly encouraged to apply. Must be admitted to the Patent Bar as well as the Georgia Bar or committed to becoming a member of the Georgia Bar.
