The Santa Barbara office of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck has an immediate opening for an associate with 1-4 years of experience in natural resources law. Ideal candidates will have experience in the following areas of natural resources law: strategic water supply planning, water rights permitting and regulatory compliance, adjudications of groundwater rights, water utility concerns, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance, administrative proceedings, complex groundwater adjudications, water rights due diligence and transfers, and infrastructure development and use.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic record, strong writing, analytical, and public presentation skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with clients, agency officials, and the public.
