Hodgson Russ LLP is seeking a Health Law attorney with approximately three or more years of experience in our Buffalo, Albany or New York City offices. The practice group counsels hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, behavioral health providers, disability service providers and licensed professionals and represents many non-profit, public, and for-profit health care organizations, including some of the largest hospital systems in New York State.

The successful candidate must have at least three years of relevant experience dealing with federal and New York State health law regulatory issues (such as fraud and abuse and licensure issues) as well as transactional matters (such as preparation, review and negotiation of contracts and corporate documents for healthcare providers). Stellar academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required. Experience in non-profit and tax exemption issues, administrative proceedings, or in reimbursement/compliance issues for health systems, hospitals, long term care providers, managed care organizations, or medical groups is a plus.
