WHAT: The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Council issued a final rule on January 19, 2021 that makes significant changes to long-standing rules under the Buy American Act. As we previously discussed, in July 2019, President Trump issued an Executive Order proposing an overhaul of current Buy American standards.
