King & Spalding seeks a mid-level or senior associate for its Corporate practice group in the Houston office. Qualified candidates will have superior academic credentials from a top-tier law school and a minimum of five years' large law firm experience in mergers and acquisitions.

The work will involve drafting and negotiating mergers and acquisitions, cross-border acquisition and sales agreements, and strategic joint venture documents. Experience in international matters related to the energy industry is a plus. Spanish or Portuguese language fluency is preferred but not required.
