Wednesday marked a widely welcomed halfway point to a full legislative week under the Gold Dome. Legislators gave approval to two measures of education interest — Representative Tim Barr’s alternative student transportation bill (HB 455) and Senator Bruce Thompson’s “Dexter Mosley Act” (SB 51) — as well as a measure to redesign Georgia’s breast cancer awareness license plate and create a new all-cancer awareness tag (HB 179).
