Job Description:

This position provides the opportunity for an Associate coming from a major NY law firm or the NY office of an international/national firm to join an established Real Estate Practice Group that is led by one of the most prominent Real Estate Partners in New York City.

The Associate will be working on a variety of commercial Real Estate transactions on both the lending and the borrowing side.

There are multiple openings at the firm due to growth of the practice and high volumes of deals.

Who we're looking for:
Associates should be class year 2006-2011 (3-6 years of experience) with reall estate transactional experience, a J.D. from a top 25 law school with exceptional academic credentials and prior experience coming from a major law firm.

The ideal candidate will be looking to grow with the firm and join a team that provides the highest service to long standing client relationships. Training will be provided on the firm's practices and standards of service.

Applicants who do not meet these credentials will not be considered for the role.

What's on offer:
Compensation for 2nd and 3rd year associates is $15,000 more than big law firm lock step salaries. Discretionary bonuses are provided at the end of each year. This is a partnership track role, where partners are nominated based on level of skill as opposed to years of experience.
