Orrick's global M&A and Private Equity team is seeking associates who merge client service excellence, deep experience and a desire to join our dynamic and innovative legal team. With practice hallmarks in technology, energy and cross-border deals, our M&A clients range from global leaders, such as Acer, Cisco, First Solar, Gap, L'Oreal, Microsoft, Nvidia, Recurrent Energy and Shutterstock, to growing companies and start-ups, such as DrugDev, Elance-oDesk, Goodreads, Instagram, Nest Labs, Pinterest and Yammer. We also support a strong portfolio of venture capital and private equity clients, including Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Coatue Management, Goldman Sachs, IA Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Wafra and Warburg Pincus.
The ideal candidate has experience in one or more of the areas of public offerings, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, public company representation and private company representation. Must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials along with superior communication skills. Membership to the State Bar of California is required.
