Brief Description:

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking a highly qualified litigation associate with 2-3 years of experience to join our high-profile litigation practice in our Orange County office. The Litigation Division boasts a diverse practice with an emphasis on complex commercial litigation, white collar, securities, class actions, advertising, trademark, product liability, insurance, environmental, labor & employment, and health care matters, among others.

Candidates should have solid prior experience, ideally as a federal judicial clerk and/or as a litigation associate a top law firm. Experience in white-collar criminal cases and internal investigations is a plus. Hands on litigation experience including, taking and defending depositions, handling discovery, drafting pleadings, writing briefs and preparing and arguing motions is preferred.

Requirements:

2-3 years solid litigation experience at a top law firm and/or judicial clerkship
Outstanding academic credentials
Excellent writing and advocacy skills
California Bar Membership in good standing
