We are seeking a paralegal with 2+ years of experience for our trademark group, which handles complex legal matters throughout the United States. The responsibilities for this position would include: preparing reviewing, analyzing, indexing, verifying and organizing documents required in connection with trademark prosecution including US and Foreign filings. This position will also be responsible for conducting trademark searches, proofing all USPTO documentation, preparing extension requests, statements of use, declarations of use and incontestability, renewal applications, and other matters.
Job Requirements
• We are looking for a paralegal with a minimum of two years of trademark experience.
• A paralegal certificate and/or a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Must have experience using a variety of computer software products, preferably in a Windows environment.
• Must have ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Our ideal candidate must have the ability to use good judgment in taking initiative and proceeding on a project or getting direction or clarification.
• Must have the ability to accommodate an occasional need for flexibility in work day hours, depending on demands of work load.
