One to three years of experience in technology transactions, with law firm experience. Emphasis on technology commercialization and intellectual property licensing. Substantive experience with structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in the areas of software and content licensing, partnering and distribution, application hosting, Web-based services, technology development, services agreements, and technology transfer relationships. Experience organizing and conducting IP/commercial due diligence investigations for strategic investments and acquisitions preferred. This position does not involve intellectual property litigation or the prosecution/registration of any intellectual property. Sharp drafting and negotiation skills required. Successful candidates will demonstrate ability to manage fast-paced client transactions and to provide pragmatic counsel related to clients' technology commercialization strategies.
