The Chicago office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP seeks a Real Estate Associate with 3 - 5 years of general real estate experience in most if not all of the following: (i) drafting and negotiation of documents in connection with the disposition, acquisition, joint ventures and financing (including construction financing) of commercial property, (ii) negotiating and drafting office, industrial and/or retail space leases whether for landlords or tenants, (iii) finance, both senior and mezzanine financing, and (iv) title, survey and due diligence issues. Exposure to management and brokerage agreements and related commercial real estate documentation is a plus. Candidates should be interested in a broad exposure to commercial real estate matters. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills required.
