The Corporate Team seeks an associate with four to seven years of experience to join its Private Investment Funds practice. The candidate should have experience in sophisticated corporate and securities matters, focusing primarily on private fund formation, operation and compliance. This practice regularly handles all aspects of private fund legal matters, including representation of sponsors of and investors in a variety of funds, as well new firm formation and registration with the SEC. The practice works on funds across a variety of private equity, real estate and structured finance strategies. The position can be filled in either the Richmond or Dallas offices.
