United States Bankruptcy Court Northern District of Georgia Clerk of Court Vacancy #23-04 Salary Range $169,555-$225,742Senior-level position reporting to and working closely with the ChiefBankruptcy Judge.The Clerk of Court will exercise broad authority in all areas of day-to-dayoperations of the court.Representative Duties: Preparing and managing the annual budget,consulting with and making recommendations to the judges regardingcourt policies and procedures, analyzing and implementing statutes,rules and procedures affecting the operations of the court, directing staffresponsible for the processing of bankruptcy cases, issuing process, andthe maintenance of official records in the custody of the court. Serving as liaison to the Administrative Office of the U. S. Courts, the Federal Judicial Center, the Office of the U. S. Trustee, the General Services Administration, the United States Marshal Service, and state and local bar associations on a variety of issues necessary to court activities.At least ten (10) years of progressively responsible administrativeexperience in public service or business that provides a thoroughunderstanding of organizational, operational, procedural, and humanaspects in managing an organization (i.e., general experience).Undergraduate degree required.
