Our client, a privately held fintech company, is seeking to hire a Corporate Counsel level attorney for their expanding in-house legal team. Qualified candidates will have at least 2+ years of commercial agreements experience with SaaS, data privacy, and/or financial technology. Intellectual property expertise is a plus, but not required. Payments experience is also a plus. The hired attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and counsel to various business units; this includes reviewing and drafting a host of complex commercial agreements; coordinating and managing the contract review process; ensuring finance and technology regulatory compliance; and working with outside counsel on matters. The position reports to General Counsel of the organization and is part of a leanly staffed legal team.
