Cleary Giacobbe Alfieri Jacobs, LLC, a rapidly expanding mid-size law firm, is seeking attorneys for its Bergen County office.Education/Special Education Attorneys:1-5 years law firm experience to conduct legal research; draft legal memoranda to clients; advise clients with respect to school board governance, labor and employment, and student and staff member rights; review and prepare public contracts; appear before judicial and quasi-judicial tribunals; attend school board meetings; and prepare and present presentations to clients on various topics related to school law. Prior knowledge of special education is a plus.Government/Public Entity Attorneys: 5 + years legal experience in land use, redevelopment, and municipal/government law. Attendance at hearings and meetings is required. The candidate should be familiar with the foregoing practice areas and be able to effectively counsel municipal public and private clients, as well as review and draft municipal ordinances, resolutions, agreements, contracts and documents pertaining to the subject practice areas.
