We are working with several highly-regarded South Florida law firms in Miami-Dade & Broward counties, and in Boca Raton who are each seeking litigation attorneys with at least 3-5 years of litigation experience to join their respective firms. For ALL of these positions, Responsibilities will include:Independently handling cases with minimal supervisionPre and post lawsuit case investigation and preparationDrafting and responding to litigation pleadingsDrafting and responding to litigation discoveryConducting legal research and drafting Motions and supporting Memoranda of LawTaking and defending depositions of parties, experts and lay witnessesAttending court hearings to argue motions and providing support at trialQualifications for the Miami-Dade position:At least 3 to 20 years as a commercial litigation attorney, with experience litigating in Federal CourtBackground or exposure to Franchise litigation is a plus, but is not required.Experience in both plaintiff and defense work is a plusExcellent research, writing, and communication skillsAbility to handle a high volume of cases and manage time efficientlyAbility to independently handle cases with minimal supervisionPortable business is welcomed but not requiredThis will be an "Associate Attorney" or an "Of Counsel" position - Depending on level of seniority and experienceMust be licensed to practice law in Florida and a member in good-standing with the Florida BarThis position can be in-person, hybrid, OR fully remoteQualifications for the Broward County position:At least 3 to 10 years of litigation experience in Florida State Court (plaintiff and/or defense work)Background or exposure to construction litigation and/or property damage litigation preferred, but not requiredExcellent research, writing, and communication skillsAbility to proactively work on your own caseload, under supervision, with a talented group of attorneysPortable business is not requiredMust be licensed to practice law in Florida and a member in good-standing with the Florida BarThis position can be in-person or hybridQualifications for the Boca Raton position:At least 3 to 5 years of litigation experience in Florida State Court (plaintiff and/or defense work)Background and experience handling tort liability, insurance defense litigationExcellent research, writing, and communication skillsAbility to proactively work on your own caseload, under supervision, with a talented group of attorneysPortable business is not requiredMust be licensed to practice law in Florida and a member in good-standing with the Florida BarThis will be an in-person positionEach of these law firms offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
