Our client, a large provider of professional liability insurance, has engaged us to identify qualified candidates for immediate openings they have with their expanding claims team in Atlanta. Desired candidates will have 2+ years of professional liability and/or medical malpractice experience. The hired professional will: investigate and manage litigation and selected high-exposure pre-litigation claims; recommend defense or settlement of assigned claims; develop litigation plan with defense counsel; present cases before Claims Committee; and provide case direction and proper resolution of assigned claims. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), along with an exceptional business acumen, and a team-oriented approach are critical for success in this position. Candidates coming from either a law firm or in-house insurance environment will be considered.
