Our client, a large provider of professional liability insurance, has engaged us to identify qualified candidates for immediate openings they have with their expanding claims team. Desired candidates will have a JD and 8+ years of professional liability and/or medical malpractice experience. The hired candidate will supervise a team of seasoned claims analysts/attorneys who manage medical professional liability claims and lawsuits. They will be responsible for setting claim strategy and driving the optimal outcome for policyowners through efficient and effective resolution of their claims. This role will work closely with the Chief Claims Officer and provide key insights and feedback regarding claims team performance, claims trends, and progress towards meeting company objectives. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), along with an exceptional business acumen, and a team-oriented approach are critical for success in this position. Candidates coming from either a law firm or in-house insurance environment will be considered.
