LABOR & EMPLOYMENT COUNSEL (Non-Remote, Raleigh, NC)

Our client, a publicly-traded manufacturing company with over 10,000 employees and $7B in annual revenue, has asked for our assistance in identifying an experienced (8+ years preferred) Labor & Employment lawyer to serve as company’s lead employment specialist. Candidates from a variety of backgrounds are welcomed, and a broad range of experience is preferred as the hired lawyer will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: counseling and training; preparation of handbooks, policies and procedures; compliance (to include overseeing a team of non-lawyers); internal investigations; executive compensation and ERISA; corporate ethics and risk management; M&A assistance; and litigation. Familiarity with California employment law, or willingness to learn, required. Collective bargaining experience helpful. Position is non-remote and will be located in Raleigh, NC. Roughly 50-hour work week, with some flexibility. Extremely close-knit, ego-free, and collegial culture. Fitment within this is very important.
