Our client, one of the world’s leading medical device companies, is seeking to hire a Senior Corporate Counsel to support their growing legal team in either their Atlanta, GA headquarters or Austin, TX office. This position serves as an in-house legal specialist supporting healthcare compliance, privacy, and Human Resources matters, and as a generalist who advises on a wide variety of domestic and international legal matters including corporate governance, securities matters, business development, and the full spectrum of corporate documents, agreements, and contracts. The Senior Corporate Counsel will work extensively with many functions and areas of the Company in an effort to understand both business goals and corporate risk, and to implement business solutions in the best interest of the Company. This position will be tasked, as needed, with a variety of responsibilities to support the legal needs of any area of the Company, working independently and with or at the direction of other Legal Department team members and the General Counsel based on the project. This position will also be responsible for supporting the overall pipeline of contracts for the Company and its US and international subsidiaries, including: drafting templates; drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate contracts; managing the contracting process; and determining contract priority and staffing. Qualified candidates will have 3-6 years relevant legal experience including AmLaw 100 firm training. The successful candidate will be expected to approach his or her work with a customer-focus and a results-driven attitude.
