Small downtown plaintiff law firm interested in hiring an attorney for an associate position. Candidate must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York and have 5+ years experience in plaintiff legal work.Experience must include general negligence and medical malpractice experience which includes handling of mid-size case load, ability to take depositions, perform brief writing, converse with potential experts, perform both medical/ legal research, have excellent organizational, written and communication skills and make court appearances.Position is full time and in person. The candidate must be able to travel to various counties to court and deposition appearances. Position includes three weeks' vacation time, health, vision, dental benefits and 401k plan.
