NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR SPECIAL COUNSEL FOR AFFIRMATIVE CIVIL RIGHTS LITIGATION AND AFFIRMATIVE LABOR ENFORCEMENT AND WORKER PROTECTION LITIGATION

The Attorney General of New Jersey, through the Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Law, hereby announces the issuance of two Requests for Qualifications ("RFQ") for Special Counsel for (1) Affirmative Civil Rights Litigation and (2) Affirmative Labor Enforcement and Worker Protection Litigation. The State is generating these Special Counsel lists for the first time, and is open to a wide range of expertise. The Minimum Qualifications for the former are as follows:Each lawyer whom the firm proposes will be primarily responsible for matters assigned under this Request for Proposal must have five or more years of litigation experience, including two or more years of experience in civil rights litigation as described in greater detail in the RFQ's Scope of Services Section. The Minimum Qualifications for the latter are as follows:Each lawyer whom the firm proposes will be primarily responsible for matters assigned under this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") must have five or more years of experience in affirmative labor and/or worker protection litigation matters as described in greater detail in the RFQ's Scope of Services Section. The Attorney General requests that interested firms submit a proposal in accordance with the RFQs (separate proposals if applying for both). The RFQs are available on the Division of Law's website at https://www.njoag.gov/about/divisions-and-offices/division-of-law-home/o.... All responses to Requests for Qualifications must be submitted in their entirety through the Division of Law's On-line RFQ Portal by August 17, 2023 by 4:00 p.m. A PDF version of the RFQs will be available for downloading beginning on July 5, 2023 to facilitate drafting of a response to the RFQs. The Electronic Application Forms will be available on the RFQ Portal for submissions beginning on July 21, 2023. The RFQ Portal will not be operational until the RFQ question and answer period has ended on July 18, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. PAPER SUBMISSIONS ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED.Questions may be submitted to Jason W.
