Description: Fox Rothschild LLP has an opening in the New York office for an attorney in our renowned Labor & Employment Department. Candidates will have the opportunity to join our unique practice that represents some of New York’s most popular restaurants and boutique hotels. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience. We are currently not accepting resumes from search firms for this position.Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: · Strong research, writing skills, and academic record. · Experience as a first-chair handling arbitrations concerning discrimination and/or wage and hour claims. · Experience counseling on New York State and New York City employment matters. · Familiarity with NY State hospitality wage order strongly preferred. Work Environment & Physical Demands: • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.Compensation & Benefits • The salary range for this position applies to New York. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position.
