Our client, one of the world’s leading medical device companies, is seeking to hire a Senior Corporate Counsel to support their growing legal team in either Atlanta, GA or Austin, TX. The Senior Corporate Counsel will work extensively with many functions and areas of the Company in an effort to understand both business goals and corporate risk, and to implement business solutions in the best interest of the Company. This position will be tasked, as needed, with a variety of responsibilities to support the legal needs of any area of the Company, working independently and with or at the direction of other Legal Department team members and the General Counsel based on the project. As the Company expands into international markets, these areas may include providing worldwide support for complex litigation, human resource matters, business development, subsidiary management, healthcare compliance related matters, and data privacy (including GDPR related support). Additionally, this position will be responsible for supporting the overall pipeline of contracts for the Company and its US and international subsidiaries, including drafting templates; drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate contracts; managing the contracting process; and determining contract priority and staffing. Qualified candidates will have 3-6 years relevant legal experience including time with an AmLaw 100 firm and experience with contracting, compliance, privacy, and/or HR-related matters.
