The Investment Management Practice Group of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP is in search of an Associate with 4 to 6 years of experience in the investment industry. This associate may be resident in either the Philadelphia or the Chicago office of the firm. We are seeking candidates with a solid background in the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and related regulations. Candidates should have experience representing registered investment companies and investment advisers, including the preparation and review of registration statements, board meeting materials, and investment management and advisory agreements. Additional position requirements include superior law school academics from a top law school, excellent writing skills, and the ability to produce top quality work with minimal supervision.
