The Portland office of Perkins Coie is seeking an associate with a minimum of two years legal experience to join its business practice. Our business group focuses on securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, emerging companies and venture capital, private equity, financial transactions and restructuring, and general corporate counseling of companies at all stages of development. Required for consideration are two years of relevant legal experience, excellent law school performance, a strong educational background, and excellent references. Significant writing experience demonstrated by law review/journal/clerkship experience and superior interpersonal and communication skills are preferred. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the potential to develop client and referral relationships.
