Perkins Coie is seeking a junior associate to join its expanding Investment Management group in its Washington, D.C. or New York office. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, law review preferred, and at least two years’ experience with a top law firm or government investment management practice, with additional derivatives experience preferred. Applicants should have experience counseling investment advisers and registered fund complexes on US securities laws and SEC matters, or equivalent regulatory role. Experience with negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and Master Repurchase Agreements and preparing and filing CFTC and NFA registration materials, membership and exemption filings on behalf of CPOs and CTAs, or willingness to learn, is a plus.
