Requirements:

Goodwin Procter is seeking a 2-4th year professional or partnership track associate to join our investment management team in Washington, DC. Candidate must have substantive knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and also have experience counseling clients in the financial services industry more generally. Candidate should also have experience working with mutual fund complexes, investment advisers and fund boards of directors, including familiarity and experience with the formation, regulation, sale and administration of a variety of investment products, such as open-end and closed-end mutual funds, money market funds, and variable and fixed life insurance and annuity products. Experience with general corporate and securities matters preferred but not required. DC bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required.
