Requirements:

Goodwin Procter seeks a highly qualified mid-level to senior associate to join our Technology Companies group. Candidate should have experience both working in teams and in managing substantial components of transactions independently. Candidates should have 3 – 5 years of significant experience in mergers & acquisitions and other strategic transactions, including handling domestic transactions, on both the buy and sell-side, in private and public transactions. Candidates should also possess solid understanding of complex structural and corporate issues pertaining to acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin-offs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalization, and tender offers.

Candidates applying for associate positions with Goodwin Procter should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. California bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) preferred.
