Description: The Orange County office of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking a highly qualified associate with at least 2-4 years of experience to join our nationally recognized Consumer Regulatory and State Attorney General Practice Group.


Ideal candidates will have experience in consumer regulatory work, including areas such as marketing and advertising law, consumer finance, telemarketing, e-commerce, and privacy matters. Experience in defending unfair and deceptive acts and practices challenges in a regulatory context is preferred, including experience with the state attorneys general, FTC and other advertising regulatory organizations is a plus.


Candidates should have strong regulatory/government and marketing law experience at a major law firm or actual regulatory experience. Litigation and discovery experience also required. Candidates should have stellar academic credentials and excellent writing, research and communication skills. California Bar Membership in good standing is required.
