Description: The New York office of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking a highly qualified associate with 3+ years of experience to join our high-profile Trademark and Copyright practice group in our Litigation Division.


The Trademark and Copyright practice group represents clients in a wide range of industries, including entertainment, fashion, and other consumer product areas in all aspects of trademark and copyright practice including clearance, filing and prosecution of trademark applications, inter parties proceedings before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, litigation in U.S. Federal District Courts, licensing, copyright registration, and ICANN Domain Dispute proceedings

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of trademark litigation and TTAB proceedings experience
• Experience and in-depth knowledge of trademark clearance and prosecution
• Solid litigation skills, such as handling discovery, drafting pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Outstanding academic credentials and excellent writing skills
• Admitted to practice in New York State
