Description: The Los Angeles office of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking an associate with 3-6 years of transactional entertainment experience to join our Film and Television Group in our Business, Finance & Tax Division.


Our Film and Television Group represents many of the largest film studios and television corporations in the industry, as well as financial institutions, hedge funds, private equity groups, and a wide variety of smaller and middle-market production and distribution companies. We handle a broad range of matters, from financing, production, and distribution and licensing agreements, to mergers and acquisitions in the film, television and new media industries.

Requirements:

• 3+ years transactional entertainment experience specializing in the film and television industry, preferably at a top law firm
• Excellent drafting and negotiating skills
• Outstanding academic credentials
• California Bar Membership in good standing
