Polsinelli one of the largest health care practices in the United States with 18 offices, is currently seeking a junior-to mid-level healthcare associate to join our national healthcare practice in Denver. Minimum qualifications include at least three to six (3-6) years of experience in healthcare matters. Transactional, consulting and/or finance experience involving physician-hospital alignment, physician organization and/or networks is considered a significant plus. Candidates should be motivated, self-starters with demonstrated interests and experience with the application and implementation of one or more of the following to healthcare transactional matters: healthcare fraud and abuse laws (i.e., federal antikickback, Stark and CMP provisions); Medicare Part B enrollment, billing and reimbursement; physician organization and alignment issues; and emerging care delivery and payment models. The successful candidate will benefit from immediate client contact in a dynamic practice group as a part of a collaborative firm and learning environment. Polsinelli is particularly interested in those candidates who have the ambition, drive and team-orientation to help grow our national practice in healthcare with a focus on individual and institutional health care provider organization and involvement in clinical integration, population health, bundled payment and similar initiatives in an era of health care reform. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, experience in a law firm or similar environment and superior writing, communication and problem-solving skills.
