The Atlanta office of Alston & Bird seeks a junior- to mid-level regulatory associate for the Payment Systems team in its Financial Services and Products Group. The practice typically represents financial technology companies, payment processors, online and mobile payments service providers, payment network operators and financial institutions in regulatory and compliance issues related to product development, ongoing compliance, new legislation and regulations, and transaction support. Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of experience in a large law firm, strong academic credentials, and a solid background in regulatory and administrative law. Familiarity with payment systems or financial services is not required; however, an interest in working in a fast-paced and quickly changing area of law is a must.
