Flexible / hybrid arrangements available.Job Summary: We are seeking to add several attorneys to work in our Insurance Coverage and Insurance Defense practices. In the Insurance Coverage practice, we are seeking both Senior and Junior level attorneys, who have 6 to 10 years, and 0 to 3 years, of experience, respectively, handling complex insurance carrier defense and coverage matters, both domestically and internationally, with an understanding of various lines of insurance coverage disputes and declaratory judgment actions on coverage issues. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of professionals, and make a significant impact in the field of insurance law.In the Insurance Defense practice, we are seeking attorneys with 0 to 3 years of experience handling liability defense of commercial trucking, premises liability, products liability and bodily injury claims. Ideal experience will include drafting and responding to pleadings and discovery, drafting and responding to motions, reviewing and analyzing medical records, and preparation for court appearances. Writing skills are key. Willing to train newly admitted attorneys or recent graduates. Openings in both our New York and New Jersey offices. We are also seeking attorneys with dual admission to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bars to handle New Jersey and Pennsylvania litigated matters. Key Responsibilities:Case Management:Independently manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and/or coverage matters from inception through resolution.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and defenses.Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Client Interaction:Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and delivering outstanding results.Advise clients on complex legal issues and provide strategic guidance to minimize risk and achieve favorable outcomes.Litigation Work:Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.Conduct discovery, including interrogatories, depositions, examinations under oath, and document review.Coverage Analysis:Perform detailed analysis of insurance policies to determine coverage obligations and potential liabilities.Draft comprehensive coverage opinions and position letters for clients.Negotiate and resolve coverage disputes with opposing counsel and insurers.Team Collaboration:Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed (Senior Attorneys).Work closely with colleagues to ensure thorough and comprehensive handling of all aspects of each case.
